New Amphibious Assault EP Coming Soon; District Six Vinyl Pre-Order on Bandcamp, and Life Update

It has been a while since I have done an update on my website, so I figured it was definitely time!
Things since checks last update November 28th have been better: it hasn’t really felt like much has happened, but I suppose that isn’t entirely true.

My production company filmed our first short The Cold Ride in January of this year, and we are in post-production right now and gearing up to the next steps (film festivals!) on that so we are excited to move forward finally on that project. It’s hard making movies. It’s very fun, but it’s very hard. We knew that going in, of course, it’s just sometimes you get so impatient and you have to realize that sometimes movies can take literally decades to get made. For someone like me that is very Type-A and impatient, it’s a hard lesson to learn - one of managing expectations and practicing my best zen patience face.

Relatedly, post-SAG/WGA strikes, acting has been very very slow. The industry is going through it lately y’all, and I haven’t really seen much on my end, but I am auditioning still so I am grateful for that. I did do one movie (a large streaming franchise!) that I am not sure when that will come out, but of course I will post when that comes out here :)

However, on the music side of things, there’s definitely more movement. BODW: Pt. 1 came out less than a year ago. Since then, I have been working on the second EP in the BODW universe, and that will be coming out very soon, (like, very soon) Stay tuned for that announcement soon (with cover reveal!

I have also decided to press District Six on vinyl, with all new artwork. It’s a limited edition run, just 95 copies (my patrons got first pick :)) .
